Well this was a first for me. I have photographed many things but never a solar eclipse. I have some lunar eclipse photos that I will post someday, but the solar eclipse was harder. I had no practice and solar eclipses give you little time to play around with the camera. Plus I thought seeing it with my own eyes was way more important.
I did manage to snap a few pictures, I just left the camera snapping pictures every minute. I set exposure bracketing so I could increase my chances of getting a good picture. Maybe when I go through the 687 pictures taken I can learn about the settings and how they came out, and be prepared for the eclipse in 2024.
